ORIGINAL German SA’Kampfzeit’ boots. The early 1920s, brown leather, lace-up boots with metal lacing eyes from ankle to top. Condition report: The leather in good supple condition. Showing some use overall. Note: This style of brown leather, full lace-up boot was worn by the SA (Sturmabteilung) during the’Kampfzeit. By 1929, the eponymous German Jackboot began to replace the lace-up,’Kampfzeit boot. The SA’Kampfzeit’ boot was almost obsolete by 1933. I have other SA items as well.
