1930’s Artillery Officer’s Full Dress Field Grade Cap. The cap is in fine condition overall. There is some light wear and blemishing throughout. On the backside of the cap along the top brim there is some wear (see pictures). The bullion on the visor has some light toning throughout; all stitching is sound. The cap insignia has no maker’s mark on the back and has some very light wear. The sweatband is coming loose in parts (see pictures) and the inside of the cap has the maker’s mark, William C. 1930’s EM Infantry Dress Visor Cap – Contract Marked. The cap has some light wear throughout. The blue infantry cap band has some wear, fading and discoloration (see pictures). Chin strap and visor have some light wear and the visor has cracking in the finish. The cap insignia has some light wear and blemishing. 1930’s 3rd Annual Peace Poster Contest Submission of Framed Poster & Glass Front
This poster was a submission for the 3rd Annual Peace Poster Contest in the 1930s’. It has an identifying stamp at the lower right corner with the name “Edna” next to it. It certainly has seen better days – as it has a long tare at the “W” in war as well as the lower left corner bottom. Also noted is the moisture damage that is seen by the dark areas and shapes on the poster. We acquired this from a local estate sale with no other information provided. Measurements in frame: 24 3/4″ wide by 31″ tall. Governor’s Antiques and Architectural Salvage has been in business for over 50 years.
