For sale is a vintage rifle mounted / hand held bayonet. It’s a Dutch model 1895 manufactured under contract by Austria (the OE over WG stamp on the blade) and used by the Dutch Infantry. Those made under contract by Austria and Germany had hooked quillons and were the earliest version. Blade length approx 14 inches – 19 inches overall length. Blade is marked on both sides – unknown markings – 6739 G (stamped on the cross piece) – both sides of blade have some sort of makers marks. Locking bolt spring is strong and functional. Very good condition and guaranteed original pre WWII Russian Model 1927 cavalry Shashka sword. Nicely unit marked on the blade and dated 1932. 31 ¾ blade has beautiful original bright finish and has been sharpened. Still has original leather washer at the base. Brass fittings have attractive patina. Dated 1932 on the lower fitting, pommel has beautiful hammer and sickle markings. Fitted in correct original leather covered scabbard that has steel fittings. All fittings are present including the sots for holding a Mosin Nagant socket bayonet. A hard to find WWII Russian cavalry saber that will make an impressive addition to your collection. This medal was awarded to those volunteers who were still alive on the 50th anniversary of the Irish War of Independence. It is notably more rare than the Black and Tan Service Medal. It comes in its original box as shown with presidential slip. Officially called’The Survivors Medal’ but nick-named’Black and Tan’ after the enemies of the IRA during the War of Independence – The Black and Tans. The medal is original and in fine condition. This is a good example of a Japanese Army NCO Sword, Type 95. It is mounted with a cast aluminum hilt that resembles the Officer’s pattern as well as wears a lovely brass tsuba. The machine made blade measures 26 3/8 inches in length. The blade remains in very nice condition with only some minor surface blemishes. The mis-matched metal scabbard is scuffed nevertheless does remain nice and has no dings. Overall measuring 38 1/4 inches in length. Be sure to add me to your favorites list. This is a very nice example of a Soviet Russian Cossack Shashka Sword P 1881. It is mounted with a slightly curved blade that measures 31 1/2 inches in length which remains in very nice original condition with only some minor surface staining and continues to wear very nice markings as well as is dated 1942. The hilt has a grooved wooden grip that is healthy and wears beautiful brass fittings with a pommel which is nicely stamped with a star. Overall measuring 37 inches in length. There is no scabbard. This week, I will be listing a Wonderful Collection of Military Memorabilia and Vintage Clothing. This is a Fantastic, Very Rare, Early US Marine Corps officer’s military formal mess dress blue uniform. This wonderful Old piece has a Great, Vintage design, with USMC buttons & ornate Gold Bullion embroidery, is made of Wool, marked “The Horstmann Uniform Company – Philadelphia”, ID’d David F. O’Neill, USNA, dated 1927, is. An Original, Vintage example and Rare to Find. This includes the coat/jacket/tunic and Button-Fly pants/trousers. Marked Size, but the jacket actually measures approx. 19″ from armpit to armpit and 21″ from top to bottom, with 32″ x 30″ pants. This is a very nice example of a Japanese Army Officer’s Sword which dates from the World War II Era. It is mounted with a beautiful Seki blade that wears a cutting edge which measures 25 1/4 inches in length. The blade has survived in beautiful original condition with only very minor surface staining that could be cleaned up in the right hand and wears a large, lovely wavy temper line. The tang is signed with a signature that translates to “Ishihara KANENAO saku”. The lovely regulation fittings all remain extremely nice as well. The LIGHTWEIGHT textured wooden scabbard also remains near perfect in condition with just a couple of very small chips to the finish at the edge next to the carrying ring.
