VERY NICE RUSSIAN SOVIET SHASHKA SWORD PATTERN 1881
This is a very nice example of a Soviet Russian Cossack Shashka Sword P 1881. It is mounted with a slightly curved blade that measures 31 1/2 inches in length which remains in very nice original condition with only some minor surface staining and continues to wear very nice markings as well as is dated 1942. The hilt has a grooved wooden grip that is healthy and wears beautiful brass fittings with a pommel which is nicely stamped with a star. Overall measuring 37 inches in length. There is no scabbard.
