An original, 1895 Prussian Reserve Officer, Pioneer Battalion Helmet Plate. Very fine quality with silver gilt finish. There is modest wear on the contact points and a dark spot on the lower right side of the eagle. The eagle has mounting holes for a reserve cross but there is np evidence that one was ever mounted. The threaded mounting posts along with the original washers and nuts are in place. From a 1960’s-70’s imperial Collection.
