1937 Imperial Japanese Navy Training Photo Album Book RARE Pre-WWII. The pages are divided by thin rice paper that has printed Japanese Text. The pages of the book are full of Japanese Text as well, especially the rear final pages which look to be perhaps a listing to all the crew members! This Vintage Japanese Imperial Navy album is in good condition for its age, showing some mild edge wear to the covers. The binding is original and is holding strong, albeit slightly loose. The interior pages shows light-mild scuffing and coloration from age/display. The rice paper dividers are in good shape, with only 1 missing and some light creasing present in a few pages. US Navy Officers Model 1852 Sword & Knot Scabbard Engraved & Name Inscribed. Up for sale is a vintage US Navy Officers Sword & scabbard that has an engraved blade and the officers name inscribed into the blade. The blade is stamped Made in USA but I dont see a makers mark – could be engraved in the blade. The blade width is 3/4 and the fish skin type handle is plastic, and the engraving and condition lead me to believe this was a sword from WWI or WWII. The scabbard is marked in a couple of places 84. The blade measures 28 1/2″ long with total length of sword being 34″. If you have any questions please contact me. 1925 Submariner Photo Album Navy Subs, USS Arizona, S-51 Sunken, Carrier Langley. 1925, 1926, 1927 photo album from an early US submariner. Leather bound, 80 pages, probably 130 historical navy related photos. All photos are removable and none are pasted down. Several photos of the S-51 which was sunk and retrieved with large crew loss. Pictures of subs S-10, S-11, S-12, S-13. Pictures of the battleships Arizona, California, Tennessee, West Virginian, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Mississippi, Seattle, Idaho and more before Pearl. Picture of the USS Langley, an early carrier. Photo of the airship Shenendoah. Photos of loading torpedoes and a scarce photo of S-12 through the periscope of S-13. I have never had one like it before. Virtually everything is named and annotated including the subs, ships, and all the personnel. The named admiral is H. Lots of the shots are from New London, many from West Coast and San Francisco. Last 10-15 pages are the sailor after discharge as a cab driver and truck driver in San Francisco. Includes his id from the cab company with his photo on reverse. Included is another smaller album of about 30 pages with mostly his girlfriends and family pictures from the 20’s. This is a 1935 US Navy General Electric Tlechron large ships clock. It measures 10 inches in diameter across the face and 6 inches deep. It is mounted on a piece of wood, has a screw missing, plexiglass face has a coke ring and the plug is cut. Still a very nice old rare Naval clock. I do not know if it works. All our items come from estate sales, yard sales, flea markets or places that we have traveled. All Japanese items come directly from Japan. Very good condition and guaranteed original pre WWII German Navy Model 1923 officer sword. Left side of blade also has the German Navy eagle M property marking. Sword is marked N584 on the reverse guard, which is a Nordsee (Baltic Sea) Fleet inventory number. 30 ½ blade has nice original bright finish with just a little scattered brown freckling. Remaining metal is original gilt showing light wear. Sword features a lion head pommel and an anchor design on the folding guard. Grip has tight wire wrap and no damage. Sword is complete with correct original not. Fitted in correct original leather scabbard that has brass fittings. Leather shows some normal wear, stitching is nice and tight. Throat is a little loose. Scabbard is complete with braided leather hanger cord and is also marked eagle M and N584 on the throat, matching the sword.
