I’ve been collecting for 10 years and have decided to part with a few relics. This impressive 27 railroad eagle is one of the most sought after relics of the third reich. They were used in various sizes, on German railway locomotives, diesels, passenger cars as well as on buildings. Not only have they taken off in popularity but also price over the years, making them more difficult to find. This fine example is maker marked PS inside a small circle. Compound elements are also stamped on the wing (gal galvanized aluminum – mg magnesium , si – silicone) stamped in the center of the eagle are the abbreviations lok 680 locomotive 680mm rza5 reich zug adler (train eagle) , bln berlin. The threaded mounting posts are still intact and the details are very sharp and extremely well detailed. This is high quality specimen with beautiful patina. I’m willing to part with 10 of these from my collection. The eagle you receive may be the one pictured, or another of the same pristine quality. German Pre-World War 2 Military Combat Helmet. The flag helmet was only distributed in very short period of time before they switched to SS logo. We are not sure if it is model M42 or M35. POLAND POLISH ORDER OF THE WHITE EAGLE, WWII made by Spinks for the Polish Government in Exile. It is the first issue made in 1944 during the reign of the last King of England. Please see the hallmark plate on the back of the star. On full sash ribbon. It is of superb quality unlike those made in the 1980s and 1990s. Of low quality and terrible enamels. Those were made during the reign of the current Queen and some do not even have the Spink logo and hallmarks. Collectors should know the difference between the production runs.
