There is a leather frog that is on the scabbard in overall good condition without any damage, the two hangers are in good condition. This is a lovely example of a Japanese Imperial Naval Dagger, 1883 Pattern. It is mounted with a beautiful machine made grooved blade that measures 8 3/8 inches in length which remains in very nice condition with only some minor surface blemishes. It wears lovely decorative fittings which include a wonderfully detailed high relief “sakura” pommel all framing an attractive “samé” covered hilt that remains very healthy and tight. The outstanding scabbard is lacquer shagreen covered and remains very healthy as well with just some light wear and is mounted with beautiful coordinating fittings. Original vet acquired German WWII Chained Dagger Parts including scabbard and blade. Text book example of a late war chained dagger parts, showing age, wear and some corrosion as seen in pictures. Scabbard is a later style “Type II” with nickel plated fittings and anodized body with a center mount having a more of a “rolled” or “rounded look” to the border edges as seen and described by Thomas Wittmann on page 141 of his book Collecting the Dress Daggers and Sword of the German… Blade is the original unmarked type which is always found on chained daggers. The handle is round, wooden, plastic-topped orange. By spiral grooves handle wrapped with wire. At the bottom of a cylindrical sleeve, decorated with ornaments made of oak leaves. Aauthentic Kingdom of Yugoslavia High Officer Navy Lot. Hat, Dagger, Belt, Parad Epaulettes, Work Epaulettes + 4. Tems belonging to the High Officer of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia Navy, lot included. Hat : it is made of black felt, it consists of a hight of 120 mm high and a rim that hangs on the two opposite sides. The left hemisphere is 140 mm high and the right is 130. The circumference is covered with 70 mm wide black silk enlargement. The widths are equal to the enlargement of the labels. On the right side of the hat there is a braid somewhat bent backwards leading from the front of the rim towards the middle of the hat. The braid is made of gilded rope 45 mm wide. At the upper edge of the perimeter under the braid, there is a silk cockade in national colors, 80 mm in diameter. In each corner of the hat there is one round cockade in state colors, with a monogram King Aleksandar.
