This is a very rare Pre-WWII Czechoslovakian Vz29 Steel helmet, sometimes known as the M29 or model 1929 which was issued to the fire service. It is offered in very good condition and retains its original dark blue paint, steel comb, and MZHJ helmet plate which stands for “Moravskou zemskou hasicskou jednotu” which translates to The Moravian Land Fire Brigade. Features a very nice all original six finger leather liner and complete original chinstrap. These were used before and during WWII under NSDAP occupation. Here is a neat item from the Big One–WWII era! A genuine vintage WW2 era Czech Czechoslovak Vz24 bayonet with steel scabbard. Literally caked in cosmoline from years of storage. Needs a good cleaning off. The bayonet is in good to very good condition overall.
Please review all images and video for best idea of bayonet.. There are numerous markings by a couple makers.. Unsure when this would have been issued weighs over 1 lb total weight. I acquire items for sale from various sources from my own estate treasure hunting to various consignors / colleagues in my local area. All items I list for sale are stored in a clean smoke and pet free environment.
The bayonet lugs and springs are all still intact and can be placed on any compatible Mauser rifle as this is a VZ-24 Mauser bayonet design. (Tested with a Yugo M24/47). This rare Czech WW1-WW2 Mauser Service Bayonet with Scabbard is a must-have for any serious collector of militaria.
