WWII German dagger parade dress bayonet knife sheath Red Cross Officer scabbard. The earliest kind there is; it is remarkable to find a spare on the open market. The pommel nut that is shown in the photos is NOT included. The blade has not been sharpened and retains it’s original tip. This would be a fantastic piece to display with other items of the period. I never grade my items as mint, even though may be. If for any reason you require additional photos, please do not hesitate to ask. View My Other Items For Sale. Just an incredible find. A rare USS Lexington original pre WWII photo album. Appears to have belonged to a Navy pilot on the Lexington. Filled with 225 photos. Album is not completely full. Also there is several pages of the pilots daily diary. The entries are dated 1930. There are some personal photos but most are military photos. Incredible images of old Boeing Navy warplanes, rare in flight photos, a sailor/pilot stunt riding his Harley Davidson on the runway, several great images of the Lexington as well as photos on board. Way too much to describe here. Not enough room for all photos on listing. Just a rare piece of Naval history. Will include as many photos as I can. This is a wonderful example of a World War II Japanese Army Shin Gunto Officer Sword mounted with an ancestral blade. The blade wears a cutting edge that measures 26 9/16 inches in length and remains very nice in its condition with just some minor surface blemishes and a few very tiny nicks to the cutting edge, nevertheless continues to wear a beautiful polish and boasts a gorgeous actively wavy temper line that extends to the tip on either side. The blade also features a lovely horimono on either side. The tang wears two holes and is signed “Bizen No Kuni Osafune Sukesada Saku”. This Sword wears high quality Army Shin Gunto Regulation Mounts that also remain very nice condition in their condition as well as is accentuated with a pretty silver family Mon upon one of the menuki. The Regulation scabbard has also survived well with just some light scuffing to the beautiful lacquer finish however has no dings. Overall, the Sword measures 38 3/4 inches in length. This is lovely example of a War Mounted Ancestral Blade as worn by a Japanese Officer during World War II. Be sure to add me to your favorites list. Check out my other items.
