USMC Flag and other items China Marines 1930s Reproduction Flag
This is a reproduction guidon used by the U. Marines – Mounted Detachment in China during the 1930s. In the lower right corner of the frame is a photograph of the original guidon, which is on display U. Naval yard in Washington D. Also in the frame is a reproduction leather patch, 6 inches in diameter of the same era, also dealing with the mounted Marines. Richard Bonham, which shows the flag on page 57. The other book is a self published piece, The China Marine written by Clem D. Russell dealing with his time in China, 1930 – 1932 with the American Legation Guard. The book was written by Mr. Russell and typed by him and “xerox” copies were made of the book. Russell and only photo copies now exist. This collection is in a frame and the price only reflects the value of the collection not the frame, the frame as free.
