This is a vintage Carl Eickhorn German Army officers dress sword. It measures 36 inches with the blade at 31 inches. The blade has some rust spots and no scabbard. The wire on the handle is also loose, but overall still in great condition. All our items come from estate sales, yard sales, flea markets or places that we have traveled. This is a nice example of a highly sought after, rare and seldom encountered Japanese Naval Prison and Shore Patrol Sword which dates from the World War II Era. It is mounted with a beautiful machine made blade that measures 21 1/2 inches in length which remains nice in its condition with only light staining with a few small blemishes. The very nice guard is accentuated with an engraved anchor on the backstrap and frames a healthy leather wrapped hilt that still wears its original twisted wire wrap securely in place. The metal scabbard is also adorned with an engraved anchor at the base and remains very nice as well with no dings and only minor flaking to its plating. Overall measuring 30 7/8 inches in length. BRAZIL PAULISTA REVOLUTION RESTORED HELMET. This is one version of 3 versions of a 1932 Brazilian Civil War Paulistas Steel Helmet manufactured in Brazil. Using the design of the French M-15 Helmet and modified to suit the Brazilian Paulistas needs. The main difference is the way the helmet shell is pressed out of one piece of steel instead of being put together from three pieces as the French Helmet was and the other is the air vent on the top of the helmet shell. ThE first version of the Paulistas helmet has an air vent which is pressed into the top of the helmet shell and holes drilled around the protrusion. The second version of this helmet uses the French system where the air vent on the top of the shell is covered by a comb however the comb on the Paulistas helmet is very small compared to the French helmet. The third version is the MK1 brazilian made. This helmet shell is painted olive green , repainted this year. There is no liner. Overall, this helmet shell is in good condition for it’s age and whatever use it may have had in my opinion. The dagger and scabbard are in excellent condition. Scabbard has started to discolor mainly from the users gripping the scabbard to hold it while taking it out of the sheath, mainly from the oil in our skin over the years. Blade is in almost perfect condition and still has a mirror-like finish. Blade inscribed with “Everything for Germany” (in German of course). On the back side of the handle, “Wm” is stamped on the nickel finish. The blade has the maker’s mark of GEBR. GRAFRATH SOLINGEN at the top. It is a known, but rarer maker of these daggers. Total length with scabbard = 14.75. Dagger length = 13.50. Blade length = 8.75. Of course, we had to block out part of the inlay on the badge, but it is in perfect condition as well.
