This is a lovely example of a German made Greek Infantry Officer Sword. The beautiful straight blade wears a single fuller along either side as well as the logo of “Kirschbaum” just next to the guard. The blade measures 33 1/2 inches in length and remains in very nice original condition. The multi branched guard features a very nice crowned cross emblem upon its pommel face and remains in superb condition, continuing to wear all of its bright gold wash. The black composite hilt also remains very nice in its condition and with its twisted wire wrap securely in place. The plated metal scabbard remains near perfect as well. WWI-WWII Military Original Cavalry officer sword/sable frog, stamped, and made from saddle leather. Cavalry sword was carried in a hanger attached to horse saddle, but since cavalry sword also belonged to dress uniform of cavalry soldier, they also needed to be carried attached to soldiers belt when needed Can be used for carrying sword attached to belt. Very Rare Circa 1920s Chinese Republican WarLord’s Sword Saber (Dirk Dagger). Please Check back regularly for new listings of quality weapons. Extremely rare example of a very seldom encountered Chinese Republican sword variation dating from around 1920s-30s, belonged to a warlord of the Republican army, having gilt brass mounts with Foo Dogs carved in to both sides of the pommel and a large relief star to the guard among fine engraved floral decoratins, the grip retaining its fine sting ray skin and brass double wire wrapping intact. Wearing a sturdy straight single edged blade with deep narrow fuller to each side, showing wear to the nickeled finish with nice rich patina and multiple deviance of combat to the edge. Mostly solid and intact with micro play to the hilt mounts and in its original steel scabbard showing nice patina consistent with the age. In one of the more amazing what were they thinking moments you can see the outline and some thread damage where someone carefully removed a US Pilots wing!!!!! Why you would just remove the US wing is beyond me! There is some fairly minor mothing on the sleeve, front and inside illustrated in the pictures. A very, VERY rare tunic and insignia. Here is a very rare set of dress blues for a USMC private. Both tunic and trousers named to the same Marine, R. Includes a later-issue (“restrike”) Yangtze River Service Medal and an Expert Marksman badge. All original, no alterations. The set does have mothing, so it is not mint. Mothing is concentrated on the read shoulder of the tunic with scattered nips elsewhere, while on the trousers it is in the crotch area witha few elsewhere on the pant legs. The top eye for th ecollar closure is loose but still attached. Colors are still vibrant with no stains or fading. Displays very well, medium size.
