COLT AUTOMATIC PISTOL BOX SUPER 38 VINTAGE 1920s
It is from a large collection that I recently picked up. From what I understand it is from the 1920s or 1930s. There is some obvious wear and some stains but is solid and sturdy and is in very good shape for such an old item. The outside of the box is a dark burgundy or maroon color but looks black in spots. The inside and bottom are tan. There is a dark blue label on the side stating the configuration of the firearm it once contained. There is printing on the inside about Colt firearms and it is clear and legible. No numbers on the bottom of the box. I will answer promptly as best I can. SIZE OF THE BOX IS 14 1/8″ x 5″ x 1 3/4.
