Vintage World War 1 WW1 Era US Springfield M1905 Bayonet Dated 1919 Original A++

I look forward to doing business with you. Thanks again and Have A Great Day! Up for sale is this World War 1 Era US M 1905 Bayonet. This bayonet was manufactured by Springfield Armory and is dated 1919. This bayonet is in great condition considering its age. The blade retains most of its finish. There are some runner marks from scabbard wear. The blade does not appear to have been sharpened after it left the factory. There are a few nicks in the edge of the blade. The blade is stamped S A over the flaming bomb and is dated 1919. The opposite side of the blade is stamped US and has the serial number 1061787. The guard is tight and it has no play. The guard is a little bent (see pics, bent on thumb release side). The guard, hilt and pommel all have a nice even patina. There is some light pitting and minor surface rust (nothing serious). The release mechanism is working properly but is a little stiff. The walnut handles are in great shape with no damage that I can see. One panel is stamped 956. This may be a rack number (not sure). The bayonet has an overall length of approximately 20 & inches. There is no scabbard with this bayonet. This bayonet would make a great addition to any collection.
