Absolutely stunning panoramic photograph of France Field in Colon, Panama. Although it is not dated, my best guess is that this was taken sometime in the 1920s. Overall condition is excellent! Paper is fragile, has some overall “yellowing” to it. The field is in relativity good condition, and would frame really really nice. Has some foxing on the lower border they may clean up with a wipe down. Two slight creases/ripples, see picture 11. Outside border does has staining, rips, etc. Please look at pictures. During the WWII, these type of helmets were part of the standard outfit of the German. They were worn by the flying personnel, fighter pilots and bomber flyers. The helmet is made of qualitative brown natural leather with cover inside. It has metal buttons, which are marked’Prym. Shows very little use, most wear can be seen at the top of the cap. Great condition for its age. Very faint lettering visible on chin strap must have been the crewmans name.
