For sale is 3 of the bayonets and sheaths shown in the pictures. Believe this to be a VZ24 bayonet. It is 15 inches end to end. The blade is 9 3/4 inches from hilt to end of the point. These are in FAIR or better condition. These will have complete wood grips. The grips may have a small crack but the grip is firmly attached. All the locking buttons work. Blade is in fairly good shape with a few nicks. These are dirty and grease. I have but zero effort in trying to clean these up. Scabbard seems to be in average condition with minor rust and has some dents that do not affect the blade from sliding into it. This sale is for a rare vintage U. Army M-1904 leather saddle scabbard. The scabbard was produced under military contract by the Lawrence Co. Portland, Oregon, on or near 1917 – 1918. The scabbard was produced to accommodate the Army M-1903 Springfield rifle. The scabbard has the “LAWRENCE” mark and also S. Which could be the inspectors initials. This leather scabbard does not have the two tie down straps or belts. The condition of this scabbard is very good. All of the stitching is tight and complete, the brass rivets and copper washers are also tight and in good condition. The hole at the bottom of the scabbard still contains the brass grommet.
