Here we believe to be a “military” camera and may be of historical significance as it was owned by Norman E Cook. If you google him, you will find some interesting articles about him. He was born in Canada in 1875. Became a US Philippine Scout in 1901. A few years later around 1905 he was on military trial for manslaughter but later acquitted. He was promoted and reappointed several times as Captain. He retired in 1919. Now this camera is a Graflex 1A. Not sure at what point the camera was used and what for. The camera based on the latest date was around 1916. This is the info that we were able to gather so far. It is a tad bit dusty. The lens is a Bausch and Lomb Tessar 3.25×4.25. It has Norman E Cook’s name on the back of the camera as well as his three addresses: Army and Navy Club Manilla PI, California Tennis Club San Francicsco, CA and River Road, Youngstown, NY. S Navys Officers Uniform 1890s that was used though WW1 and up to WWll. The Uniform Coat with tails And Navy Mess Chain with Buttons, the Officers Coat and Pair of Epaulets, Stunning has its original Belt, and Ceremony Sword, Dress Pants, as well as its wonderful Cape. Also warring the Fore Aft Hat to top it off. Theres a few stitches loss on the collar of the cape and a clasp off the capes Collar, missing. This is a very heavy Cape, limner-is deep red. Made at the Naval Clothing Depot. Uniform Coat and Pants perfect as well is its Belt and Authentic Sword. The Hat and Epaulets Show some ware and tare, they are antique and in antique used condition. The Belt is stamped Hand Boarded Cow. The Sword has its Sheath also leather and Cloth storage rap, original. The only tag on the Uniform is with the Commanders name , H. And I dont know what Size. Early 1st Model Luftwaffe / Air Force Dagger – weyersburg WW2 Germany. This early example has nickel fittings throughout. The pommel is in nice condition. The sunwheel has a brass tone. The crossguard is in good shape. The grip is wood covered in Moroccan leather. The leather looks nice but shows visible signs of wear. The grip is tightly wrapped with three silver wires, the center strand being tested to provide some visual interest. The scabbard shell is straight throughout and is covered in Moroccan leather which matches the grip. The leather shows some wear. The scabbard mounts are matching nickel and are in generally good used condition. The tip of the scabbard has a few dings which are expected. The matching nickel chain has nine upper and lower ringlets. These are connected to an unmarked nickel snap clip. The blade is in good shape with minor wear and see the scabbard has a few minor dents. Here we have a really Cool Early German SA Dagger with a August Bickel Mark on the blade. The Wooden handle show great patina with some small separations of wood near the top. Both emblems fit nicely and appears to have all its enamel. The scabbard also appears to be in good shape. There are a few small dents in the nickel point cover. The original leather strap is still attached. The blade appears to be in fine shape that comes to a nice point. The blade looks like it could buff nicely clean with no pitting.
