Beautiful Pickelhaube helmet of a cavalry officer of the Chilean army, The Republic of Chile was the first country in South America to introduce the Prussian doctrine, the leather of the helmet was in poor condition, so it was restored by a professional saddlery. The helmet corresponds to those used by cavalry officers in the 20s until 1927 exactly. This helmet is a golden opportunity for the pickelhaube collectors of the world, the future owner can polish the leather to give it the vintage shine. Importantly, The plate and spike and chin scales are original. The stars, spine, visor trim and cockade are hight quality reproductions. DO NOT LET THIS CHANCE GO AWAY.

Original CHILEAN Army German Styled M35 PARADE HELMET. The odd thing is that the Chilean army decal is on the wrong side. Maybe a error when manufacturing? This helmet is complete with liner and chinstrap. Rare and hard to find helmet here in the US. Made of a Vulkan fiber type material, it is very light. I believe this one was manufactured in the early 90’s. These are still used ceremonially in Chilean military parades along with very German influenced uniforms. I recommend you look up on youtube. Please look at the last picture where it is beside my WW2 German M35, This gives you an idea of size and slight shape difference. The parade helmet sits taller and more narrow. This is a beautiful French Made Chilean Presentation Sword for the well known Argentinean Physician, Politician and Diplomat Marcos Jose Arce (15 October 1881 – 27 July 1968). This gorgeous Sword features a gilded brass hilt that is exquisitely detailed with cut out design and engravings and crowned with the head of a condor for the pommel. The guard remains very nice and tight and frames beautiful mother of pearl grips that have survived in excellent condition as well. It is mounted with a multi fullered, wonderfully etched blade that measures 32 inches in length and is named “MARCOS JOSE ARCE” on one side. The blade has also survived well with only minor blemishes and surface staining. The outstanding silvered scabbard is fabulously engraved and also remains in superb condition with no dings.
