The pages of the book are full of Japanese Text as well, especially the rear final pages which look to be perhaps a listing to all the crew members! This Vintage Japanese Imperial Navy album is in good condition for its age, showing some mild edge wear to the covers. The binding is original and is holding strong, albeit slightly loose. The interior pages shows light-mild scuffing and coloration from age/display. The rice paper dividers are in good shape, with only 1 missing and some light creasing present in a few pages. This is a vintage US Army McClellan Cavalry saddle and blanket. The saddle says it is an 11 inch and the leather on the stirrups is marked “US” other then that those are the only marks I see. The wood on the stirrups is cracked and the leather skirt and stirrup straps look to have been replaced, other then that the saddle is in great condition. The blanket is blue with a gold star, it has moth damage or some type of bug damage to the material. Overall both still display great. All our items come from estate sales, yard sales, flea markets or places that we have traveled. All Japanese items come directly from Japan. I lived in Japan for 8 years and collected several nice pieces. Feedback will be left once feedback is received. If you get it dry cleaned or repaired prior to contacting me once. This item has been in my possession for about 40 years. It from is deceased, history is unknown. Weights and Dimensions: Binoculars: 20.5 pounds, 24″ long, 9-1/2″ wide(folded close). Tripod: 10.5 pounds, 34″ long, x 8″ x 8 (collapsed). The three different magnification levels are achieved by rotating the “oculars”. Works like a turret — each side individual. The distance between the eyepieces. Is adjustable–can be opened very wide to accommodate two observers at the. Condition (Binoculars): Left side: 12x, 20x, 40x all focus, all optics look good. (somewhat dirty), 20x and 40x are missing the screw-on. Plastic “eyepiece”, see photo nbr 10 for example. Eyepiece is there but cracked (see photo 9). Right side: 40x focuses normally, plastic eyepiece is good. 12x and 20x will not focus. 12x turns but does not move “in and out”, plastic. 20x does not seem to turn. Plastic eyepiece is missing. At some point in its life, the binocular fell and hit. When looking through both. Sides on 40x, images are clear but do not line up. General: All lenses appear to be in good shape, no scratches. Up for consideration is a vintage Nazi flag. Its huge its over 4 ft wide and 6 ft long. Its in very good condition on the one side of the flag in the white by the Nazi symbol theres a small minor tear. On the one side in the white theres a mark like something was spilled on it.
