Original Weimar-era German Studentika fraternity belts (pair) – one dated 1922 with the embroidered motto “Deutsch und treu in Wort und Tat” (“German and faithful in word and deed”), plus a black/red belt with trim and snap closure. Classic Couleur/Studentika pieces from a German Burschenschaft / Landsmannschaft set-great for display with caps, swords or Mensur memorabilia. Motto belt (dated 1922). 38 1/4″ total length; 1 1/4″ wide. Black-red-gold with woven gilt trim & script motto. Black/red belt with trim & simple snap lock. 39 1/2″ total length; 1 1/8″ wide. Black & red ribbed ribbon with gilt edge and metal snap. Motto belt: shows staining and general wear from age/use. Black/red belt: heavy wear in the middle; snap does not close.
