1930’s EM Infantry Dress Visor Cap Contract Marked
1930’s EM Infantry Dress Visor Cap – Contract Marked. The cap has some light wear throughout. The blue infantry cap band has some wear, fading and discoloration (see pictures). Chin strap and visor have some light wear and the visor has cracking in the finish. The cap insignia has some light wear and blemishing. The sweatband has some wear, small holes and a few small areas where the stitching has come loose. Under the sweatband is the contract marks. Size: 6 7/8 approx. 57cm Belgian M31 Gendarmerie helmet casque stahlhelm casco elmo? WW adrian
If you need some time to pay, please inform me and we’ll come to a deal. I write English, German, French and Dutch (and try to in other languages;). Ca 57 cm head size. The helmet is Original and in good condition. Very nice original black color. The badge is excellent and guaranteed original! The Belgian Gendarmerie or police troops were not as you think for the common order. I wartime they had the task to defend bridges and other vital infrastrucure and so they were in the first line to offend the enemy and part of the military front line. Ca 57 cm hoofdomtrek. De helm is origineel en in goede staat. Zeer mooie originele zwarte kleur. De badge is uitstekend en gegarandeerd origineel! De Belgische gendarmerie of politietroepen waren niet zoals je denkt voor de gewone orde. In oorlogstijd hadden ze de taak om bruggen en andere vitale infrastructuur te verdedigen en dus stonden ze in de eerste linie om de vijand en een deel van de militaire frontlinie te beledigen. In Kriegszeiten hatten sie die Aufgabe, Brücken und andere lebenswichtige Infrastruktur zu verteidigen, und so waren sie in erster Linie, um den Feind zu beleidigen und ein Teil der militärischen Frontlinie. US Navy Parachute Blueprint Designs 1922 Original Historic
Here is a very rare piece of US Navy history. This is a collection of design blueprints from when the Navy was creating their first parachutes. There are eight blueprints and a 1925 report on the US Army method of packing parachutes. The Navy mandated chutes to be worn beginning in 1924. Some of the blueprints include handwritten changes along with a signature. The blueprints have been folded and show some wear including small tears and discoloration. Included is a canvas pouch. I bought this from a collector who did not remember where it came from. Please let me know if you have any questions.
