Very Nice Large Arabian Jambiya Dagger Dirk
This is a beautiful example of a well made large Arabian Jambiya Dagger Short Sword which dates from the late 19th to early 20th Century. It is mounted with a curved blade that measures 16 3/8 inches in length by 2 1/4 inches at the widest. The blade reflects cleanings from recent years, nevertheless does remain in nice condition with only minor surface blemishes and light scratches. The wonderful horn hilt is attractively adorned with a lovely front silver detailed sleeve that wears nicely detailed rivets. The large scabbard is also beautifully enhanced with artfully detailed silver work that very nicely coordinates to the hilt. The scabbard has survived in very nice condition as well.
