Nice Italian Knife Dagger Pugnali Wwii
This is a very nice example of an Italian Eagle Head Dress Dagger Pugnali that dates from the late World War II Era. It is mounted with a blade that measures 6 3/4 inches in length which remains in good condition with some minor surface scratches and minor blemishes. The lovely black painted carved wooden grip remains very healthy and with its original twisted wire wrap still tightly in place. The hilt is crowned with a wonderfully well detailed eagle head pommel and backstrap that also remain nice with most of their original finish still present as well.
