Rare Polish Infantry Officer’s Sabre, Sword. “Honor i Ojczyzna” wz. 21/22 with the scabbard. Extremely rare Polish Infantry Officers sword, sabre model wz. The steel blade with engraved the Polish eagle, flowers and foliage, and the motto. On the blade is stamped BOROWSKI WARSZAWA. There are no other visible markings on the blade. Brass hilt with original black lacquered leather covered wooden grip and bound with double twisted brass wire. The hilt is stamped underneath on the back and the rear of the blade with the number 4. The blade of the sabre is in very good conditions for its years with slight traces of corrosion on both sides. The hilt is in very good condition with beautiful patina, the black leather has slight signs of use and brass wire wrapping is intact. The scabbard has a few small dents and some traces of corrosion (see carefully the attached photos). The sabre and scabbard is in its original condition. Sabre measurements: Overall length: 94 cm Length of the blade: 76 cm Curvature of the blade: 1.2 cm. Width of the blade at the widest point: 2.8 cm. Up for sale is one Pre World War 2 US Navy Submarine SONAR Sound Head Projector ASDIC. I don’t have much information on this unit but it is definitely a RARE FIND. It is either a Magnetostriction or Piezo Transducer based on my research but could also be a Fessenden Oscillator. The unit was connected to an oscilloscope and you can see oscillations when tapping on the projector head. I did google the part numbers on the unit shown in the pictures but wasn’t able to find any information. The whole assembly is made of mostly brass and possibly nickel or stainless steel. There is some sort of rubber material on the back of the projector head. The unit measures around 24 inches long and has a long two conductor cable attached. The SONAR head comes in a rugged storage case with no part numbers or markings. The numbers on the Sound Head are as follows.. ESO – 671351 (In Brass Casting). 35 ONR5 (Hand Painted). USN 62190 – 000675 (Stamped in Brass). 5B 20 (Stamped in Brass). BARGE CR C G 6B (Stamped in Brass). This SONAR Head is a very unique piece of history and belongs in a museum. This sale is for a rare vintage U. Army M-1904 leather saddle scabbard. The scabbard was produced under military contract by the Lawrence Co. Portland, Oregon, on or near 1917 – 1918. The scabbard was produced to accommodate the Army M-1903 Springfield rifle. The scabbard has the “LAWRENCE” mark and also S. Which could be the inspectors initials. This leather scabbard does not have the two tie down straps or belts. The condition of this scabbard is very good. All of the stitching is tight and complete, the brass rivets and copper washers are also tight and in good condition. The hole at the bottom of the scabbard still contains the brass grommet. HERE IS A SUPER RARE NUMBERED M. NO 1069, US MARINE CORP ORIGINAL ISSUED YANGTZE SERVICE MEDAL There where very few of these awarded to Marines. It has the old clasp and ribbon and did not glow. Medal is in good shape for almost a 100 years old. Please look over and ask questions as we know this is a rare and valuable piece for any collector to have. Some folks just don’t appreciate history and preserving it for us collectors. With what little research I could do, all I could find was one m. 1052 was issued to a marine corp Colonel on who served on the USS HENDERSON AIRCRAFT SQUADRON in 1927. A list of the marines in the squadron would most likely help getting closer to the Marines name. Some more digging should come up with him. Expeditionary Detachment, Aircraft Squadrons, Third Brigade United States Marines, who were on board the USS Henderson at Shanghai, China, from 23 June 1927 to 27 June 1927.
