Visible markings inside – Though worn, the following can be partially read. Heel to toe (underside): 10 inches. Width at ball of foot: 3 ¾ inches. Height (heel to shaft top): 17 inches. These boots are in well-preserved vintage condition, with wear consistent with their age:? Rich patina with natural creasing and scuffs? Leather shows cracking but remains structurally sound? Soles exhibit wear, with missing stitching on the right ball of the foot (instep area)? Canvas pull straps inside shafts are still functional. These boots are a remarkable collector’s piece, perfect for display or for those who appreciate antique military and equestrian gear. Blue wool construction with yellow bands along the outer seam. Dated 1930s and identified to one of the Essex Troopers. Original buttons and laces. Up for sale is a pair of size military riding boots – they are marked “7” on the inside footbed. I believe they are from WW2 or earlier. They come with boot hooks and a boot jack. Boots have significant creasing and some scuffs.
Overall good condition, there are signs of use and wear. The right calf zipper does not function properly and there is a hole in one of the pockets. Leg opening 4.5. Measurements provided in photos.
