Original WW2 german soldier 1940 dated overcoat missing shoulder buttons and no boards with repairs, wartime belt, 2 wartime dated pouches, wartime dated mismatched bayonet with dated frog, rusted angled shovel with Hungarian altered cover, bring back wartime gasmask with straps and mask with early war gas sheet pouch with leather strap, no gas sheet. 4 piece Italian faded one sided camo made into a triangled zeltbahn missing all buttons. Early wartime breadbag, mid war canteen straps weak, wartime battle damaged and repaired mess kit with dated strap, breadbag strap, 1943 dated y straps with the 2 straps for the a frame removed. WWII German FLAK BINOCULARS D. F. 10×80 + eug o 9598 sheilds cradle dkl table cro
This WWII WW2 German Wide Field 10×80 Flak Binoculars set up are marked + eug o 9589 on the right side of the lense frame on the binoculars. The leather pad is marked D. Rain/sun shades are in place, the mounting cradle is marked dkl, the mounting turn table is marked cro. The filters are in place and I cannot see any visible cracks or chips in the optics. I can look into the the eye glass area and flip the filter knob to see different shades/degrees of light appear and I can view the cross hairs. The other knobs appear to move freely. (Red one on the mounting turn table moves binocular right or left). I also did not attempt to release it from the mounting cradel so be aware of that. I don’t know if this is something put together by a previous collector or the way it was assembled originally looking at the different locations each piece was produced. Number 9589 would appear to be early because I see some with 5 and 6 digit production numbers. I believe this is the original paint. Please note the dent in the right rain/sun shield in last photo. One support leg is broken on it anyway. I will try to answer you but have limited knowledge and experience with this type of object. The item “WWII German FLAK BINOCULARS D. Originally a US bring back helmet that is coming out of my personal Collection, found in an old Oregon Barn exactly the way it is. This Rare Untouched (Dusty/Dirty) Barn Find Original M35 German Helmet has the following features: 1 Over 50% of it’s Original Field Paint that looks to be mixed with something to have a Camo appearance/color & texture roughness vs inside smooth apple green paint. 2 Stamped SE64 with Lot# XX42 (Hard to read & partially hidden by painted on name). Se e pictures for Details. 3 Has it’s Original Liner (Liner is stamped in several places, but it would have to be removed or modified to see them & I’m not going to risk damaging something). Leather is too dusty/dirty to see if it is marked or not, along with tie rope. See pictures for Details. 4 Has it’s Original 13 Hole Chin Strap (Stamped ” Wilhelm Eilersjr Bielefeld 1941″). Very Rare One of a Kind M35 Untouched Barn Find Complete for that Historical, Military, WW2 or German C ollector out there. Age: Unknown (M35 German Helmets started in 1935) , probably re-fitted & used in WW2 due to steel chin strap connectors on liner that show rust, along with 1941 chin strap & the Camo paint applied to outside of Helmet. Very Nice German Army Officer Lion Head Sword With Storage Bag
This is a beautiful example of a German Army Officer’s Lion Head Sword complete with a green felt storage bag. It is mounted with a slightly curved blade that measures 31 1/2 inches in length that has survived in very nice original condition with only some minor surface blemishes and is well marked by the maker E. Hörster just beneath the languet. The stirrup guard is in the oak leaf pattern and remains in very nice, tight condition and is crowned with a lovely detailed lion’s head pommel. The composite hilt also remains very nice and with the original twisted wire wrap still tightly in place. The black lacquered scabbard is a bit scuffed but does remain very nice as well and has no dings. Overall measuring 39 3/8 inches in length.
