For your consideration is a very rare original Steyr made S1-100 barrel and matching top cover. Barrel rifling is very present and in functional condition. Threads are intact as well. Barrel has full markings as well as the 45 stamp under the top cover. The S1-100 is generally considered to be the Rolls-Royce of sub-machine guns, made of the finest available materials and finished to the highest possible standard. Examples produced for export to a few South American in 45 ACP are estimated to be around 500 only. Used by Paramilitary and special Police units. A rare set of parts. This is a fabulous example of a Chinese Nationalist General Army Officer Sword which dates from the early 20th Century, and is very rare and seldom ever found in any condition. It is mounted with an INSIGNIFICANT blade that measures 29 inches in length that although has a bit of flaking to its plating, does remain in good condition. The impressive gilded guard is intricately detailed with high relief and engravings and has survived in very nice condition, continuing to wear most of its bright gold wash. The faux shell hilt also remains very nice with just one small chip near the pommel nevertheless does remain tightly in place and with all the twisted wire wrap still nicely secure. The plated metal scabbard is lightly scuffed however all the beautiful gilded fittings remain bright and nice in their condition and include the presentation which is engraved along the top edge of the top fitting. This is an extremely nice example of a Japanese Artillery Short Sword Pattern 1886. It is mounted with a blade that measures 21 3/8 inches in length which remains in superb condition with very good markings. The Japanese markings on the ricasso translate to “TOKYO ARTILLERY ARSENAL” as well as “Meiji 21″ which translates to “1888”. The beautiful brass hilt has a symmetrical brass crossguard and spiral grooves and also remains in very good, sturdy condition with a lovely aged patina now developed. The leather scabbard fittings have a few small dings, nevertheless the leather remains very healthy with the stitching perfectly tight and both staples securely in place.
