The USS Houston was highly decorated Northampton-class cruiser in the US Navy that had served as flagship of the Asiatic Fleet and later the United States Fleet. She was sunk by the Japanese navy during WWII at the Battle of Sundra Straight on March 1, 1942. This is a rare poster with the lower margin indicating a 1935 publication date.
