This helmet has three oblong holes in the brim and an air venture in the bowl. The helmet has the original paint from production inside (outside repainted), and the liner is from early 1920’s production very rare!!! In the beginning the helmets had to be worn with the broad visor to the front! It is a highly collectable item which will undoubtedly increase in value. See also my other advertisements. In 1938, the Romanian army bought 300,000 helmets from the Dutch company Verblifa. It was the Dutch M34 model. On the front a copper emblem was soldered with the double’C’ of King Carol and the Romanian crown. This helmet is an original restored relic from the battlefield. Because most of the emblems have been removed in and after WW2, this is a very rare helmet. The helmet belongs to every serious helmet collection. It is the predecessor of the Belgian M31 helmet. The original black paint remains only inside. The liner is unknown to me. The chin strap is original and unrepaired.
