Rarer WWI M-1917 OFFICERS POMMEL POCKET LEATHER POUCH FOR MODEL 1917 OFFICERS FIELD SADDLE. As an accessory of Model 1917 Officers Field Saddle, this right side pommel (They came in left or right side) pocket provided quick access to daily task tools etc. This pocket is fair to good condition. It has a great patina. The top flap is a bit dryer due to the direct exposition to the sun. The pebble grain leather is pliable for the rest of the pouch. The brass metal hardware is in very good condition. The gusset is complete and intact with none of the wear or tearing often found in the softer gusset leather on these pockets. The pouch back is stamped Q. Therefore it is a Jeffersonville Quartermaster Depot made and inspected by H. It is a post WWI made. Another stamp I read NZ is probably the leather master initials. Size is 7 inches wide and about 11 inches long. Thank you for looking. The following pictures show different models from 1915 to 1970. Motorcycle jacket fm / 1954, Trial modelModel copy: Of black goatskin. Fully lined with wool lining. Double row; the over-cut part is made with a full front, buttoned with sleeves / four buttons on the right side of the front and on the right shoulder with two globe buttons of black stained birch. The lowered part is buttoned with three buttons / buttonholes on the windshield on the left side of the front. The sleeves have a knitted fabric knit at the inside of the wrist. The folded part has a knitted pocket with a lid with two buttons. The waistband of the jacket has a waistband with closure device which at the front consists on the right side two hooks and the left side two half-round rings. Stand Collar; left part designed as a slit with a hook, Right part with a strap made of cotton and a square ring for the closure of the collar and a pouring of leather. Here we have a really Cool Early German SA Dagger with a August Bickel Mark on the blade. The Wooden handle show great patina with some small separations of wood near the top. Both emblems fit nicely and appears to have all its enamel. The scabbard also appears to be in good shape. There are a few small dents in the nickel point cover. The original leather strap is still attached. The blade appears to be in fine shape that comes to a nice point. The blade looks like it could buff nicely clean with no pitting.
