Circa 1920’s Full Dress General Officer’s Visor Cap. There is very detailed bullion work around the band. Not sure who the maker is, or the size. In good condition; the sweatband is worn, stained and is missing stitching about half-way around. The bullion vein work design is largely gone, but still has a great look. This is an original 1930 signed by Spanish General Francisco Franco. He later became the Spanish dictator from 1939 to 1975. The document is framed with a picture of him and write in Spanish. It measures 10 by 14 inches in the frame. The document by itself measures6.5 by 9 inches. The signature on the photo is a copy, but the document is an original signature. It is in great condition. All our items come from estate sales, yard sales, flea markets or places that we have traveled. All Japanese items come directly from Japan. The jacket itself is in excellent shape as are the button fly slacks.. His name , as a Colonel, is on the tailors tag as well as the date 1931. There is also an envelope with his name and address. This is an exquisite example of a rare and seldom encountered Japanese General’s Grade Army Officer Kyu Gunto Sword. It is mounted with a fabulous machine made fullered blade which measures 26 inches in length that remains in very nice original condition with only some very minor surface blemishes. The gorgeous intricately detailed gilded brass guard remains absolutely beautiful in its condition with much of its original bright gold wash still present and frames a lovely shell hilt that has also survived perfectly in its condition. The lovely plated metal scabbard, although has some light flaking with minor surface oxidation near the drag along with a couple of very minor dings, does remain in very nice serviceable condition as well..
