Rare Type 62 Siam Thailand P1907 Royal Tiger Corps Bayonet 1919 King Rama VI Original. The Type 62 is a re-badged British Pattern 1907 bayonet. The tiger figural, also referred to as the “smiling tiger”, on the ricasso is representative of the Wild Tiger Corps. Year 2462 on the Buddhist Calendar corresponds to 1919. SMLE rifles and Pattern 1907 bayonets were taken from British arsenals, refurbished by Birmingham Small Arms (BSA), and remarked with Siamese markings – these are exceptionally scarce. The is an overall wonderful example of an exceptionally tough to find bayonet. The handle is missing one screw and has been pegged, overall condition is very nice as photographed, note there is some surface corrosion to the handle fittings and scabbard. One original spanish model 1893 mauser bayonet with scabbard and frog, bayonet is marked 78197 F on right tang, and ARTILLERIA NACIONAL TOLEDO on let, blade is decent, in the white, handles are decent, release works smoothly, scabbard is ding free and in the black, canvas frog is very good, bayonet fits the scabbard well, overall decent condition bayonet. Bayonet for the Persian M1898/29 Mauser rifle. Very nice bright untouched 15 3/4 blade with pointed tip. Wood grips have dents and scratches. Pommel is marked with serial number and acceptance stamp.
