I offer this sword for commanders of the Austrian fire brigade. It is a very rare version with a different design compared with normal pieces and it has a sawback blade, which is exceptional, too. All brass mountings of the handle and the leather scabbard are hand chased and were fire gilt. The handle is made of fine bone (no ivory, normal bone). The crossguard is marked with the number “4508”. Unfortunately an emblem on the handle is missing. I think it has shown a symbol of the fire brigade or the coats of arms of the Austrian Empire. The sword was made between 1910 and 1930. A very rare and decorative piece. Measures: complete 84,5cm (33”); without scabbard 78,5cm (31”); blade 64,5cm (25,5”). Condition: good with the following deficiencies: blade doesn’t fits completely in the scabbard (shrunk because of the age), some small dents on the mountings, very small chip on the handle, emblem on the handle is missing and blade with stains. The consignment was never completed. The helmets were delivered without liner and without paint. The Greek liner shows a Greek cross surmounted by a crown and the size of the helmet (57 in this case) and the words Greek Army in greek alphabet. This helmet has a very smooth and complete original liner. The finish is original. A beautiful helmet that belongs in every serious helmet collection. Up for sale in an original 1930’s US Army Corduroy Sports Jacket for the 1st Infantry Hdq. Company (I believe its supposed to be the Headquarters for the 115th Infantry because the shield is 115th Infantry). Jacket features amazing chainstitching and design and the burgundy color is spectacular. I will have to measure but best guess is this is a size 38. There are a few holes and a missing tooth on the Talon zipper but it does zip up and down but you have to go slow. There is some minor bleed over onto the cream colored chainstitching but it doesn’t detract. This jacket is 100% original and rare. More pictures and details to come. No lowball offers will be considered. I have alot into this jacket and will only let it go for the right price.
