Original very good condition 1943 Type 1 P38 Walther hard-shell holster by ewx Franz u. Karl Voegels Lederwarenfabrik in Koln. Karl Voegels Lederwarenfabrik was a very famous maker of both P38 and P08 holsters. They manufactured P38 holsters between 1942 and 1944. Nowadays the 1943 holster are much rarer than those made in 1941 and 1942. The holster has a fold-over top secured with a leather strap through a metal loop. The top has a metal reinforced plate which fits over the loop, all three are in very good secure condition. The long side of the holster has a stitched spare magazine pouch. The reverse of the holster has two leather stitched belt loops, both secure. Between the belt loops there is a’ewx’ stamp and 1943 date with WaA195 proof. There is a’P38′ stamp to the right of the second belt loop. Inside, the holster retains the’pull’ strap. The holster retains a firm shape. Please refer to the photos for condition and more details. This is an original 1929 SS Memphis City named embroidered tapestry. It is named to a “Willy Bohn” and measures 17.5 by 20.5 inches. It would have been framed with the picture of the sailor at the bottom. This one still has the original wax paper and has never been used or framed. Comes folded and is a great piece. All our items come from estate sales, yard sales, flea markets or places that we have traveled. All Japanese items come directly from Japan. Rare, original, Pre World War Two, German Panzer Badges. These badges were awarded to German panzer crews serving in the Spanish Civil War from 1936-39. During this period, Spanish facists and communists fought a civil war for control of Spain. The facists won the conflict w/ significant help from Germany and Italy. These badges are die-struck and very detailed. Both have heavy-duty pin assemblies. No maker’smarks noted. These medals are from my father’s estate. USA sale only on this item. ORIGINAL, RARE & VG Condition USMC Square Tip “Entrenching” Machete (Collins). The is an ORIGINAL (not one of the crummy reproductions) of the “Holy Grail” of the machetes issued to Marines prior to and during WWII. The square tipped “entrenching” or “intrenching” as M. Cole refers to it at page 40 of “Military Knives, Bayonets and Machetes, Book III” machete is a Collins No. The machete is in good used condition, with the wooden handle intact with all four rivets. It appears that the blade was deliberately “subdued” by bluing or black paint to reduce reflection. The scabbard is in good used condition too, but as often the case, the leather tip is damaged from dry rot (see images below). This is an increasingly rare item of “782” or “deuce” gear for the advanced Marine collector, which first shows up in the 1938 edition of the “Landing-Force Manual”.
