The poster features artwork showing a US Navy sailor in the War of 1812 along with an image of modern naval personnel with a title that reads. The Valiant Spirit Of Our Navy Makes Better Americans – Enlist and Be One. The artwork shows the dates 1812 and 1932 and the lower margin is printed “5-6-32″ so thus the date. Also printed in the lower margin is text that reads Compliments to H. Burbank with this being a reference to acclaimed Swedish-American painter Harry Reuterdahl who had designed several WWI era posters for the US Navy. This is a rare poster as far fewer posters were produced during the interwar period than during WWI or WWII. Overall condition is very good.
