Pre Wwii German Police Sidearm Sword-saxon Leipzig Unit Marked-original
Very good condition and guaranteed original pre WWII German police sidearm sword. 417 on top of the guard for issue to the Saxon police in Leipzig. 22 ¼ blade has original bright finish with a little gray and brown. Never sharpened, still has original leather washer at the base. Remaining metal finish is original bright plated showing normal age toning. Rayskin covered grip shows some wear and a few cracks and has tight wire wrap. Fitted in correct original leather scabbard that has bright metal throat and tip. Leather is soft and supple with some normal wear, stitching is nice and tight. Also complete with original patent leather frog that is soft and supple with some normal wear, stitching is nice and tight. A hard to find pre WWII German police sword that will make a fine addition to your collection. Pre War Finnish Mosin Nagant M1891 Stepped Barrel 1927
Here is another project I have no time for any more. This is a 1927 dated Finn M1891 barrel in 7.62x54r. Bore is bright and strong. Shank is double SA stamped. Barrel threads are in good shape. Very Nice Japanese General Officer Dress Sword
This is a very nice example of a beautiful high ranking Japanese Army General Officer Dress Parade Sword that dates from the World War II Era. It is mounted with a lovely machine made blade that measures 29 1/8 inches in length which has survived in very nice original condition with just some minor surface blemishes. The outstanding guard wears an intricately detailed backstrap which includes sakura blossoms and frames a vibrant, colorful hilt with its twisted wire wrap still tightly in place. The plated metal scabbard has some minor flaking as well as a few small tiny dings, nevertheless does remain in very good serviceable condition. Overall measuring 35 3/4 inches in length. If you need some time to pay, please inform me and we’ll come to a deal. I write English, German, French and Dutch (and try to in other languages;). For sale is an original Irish 1927 marked helmet. These Helmets were the result of the Free State of Ireland. Thus when the Irish Free State Army of 10,000 men was formed, a uniform helmet was required. Anti British feelings were pretty high in that period. And the British “Tommy” helmet was not favored. So the German WW1 design was settled upon. Only 10.021 were produced. To compare: The famous Austrian Berndorf helmet had a production of 140.000!!!!! Since the Treaty of Versailles prohibited Germany from exporting military equipment, the search for helmets ended in Britain. Off course, these Vickers helmets were of british inferior- steel quality, minor to the German models. This M27s were used from 1927 until 1939, after which the British brody helmet was adopted. Vintage US Army Cavalry McClellan Saddle & Blanket -11 Inch
This is a vintage US Army McClellan Cavalry saddle and blanket. The saddle says it is an 11 inch and the leather on the stirrups is marked “US” other then that those are the only marks I see. The wood on the stirrups is cracked and the leather skirt and stirrup straps look to have been replaced, other then that the saddle is in great condition. The blanket is blue with a gold star, it has moth damage or some type of bug damage to the material. Overall both still display great. All our items come from estate sales, yard sales, flea markets or places that we have traveled. All Japanese items come directly from Japan. I lived in Japan for 8 years and collected several nice pieces. Feedback will be left once feedback is received. If you get it dry cleaned or repaired prior to contacting me once.
