This is a large lot of about 60 United States War Department Training Regulations manuals and supplements from the 1920s. These manuals all measure about 6 x 9 and range from single sheet to about 118 pages with most being several pages or longer. All or almost all manuals in this lot have dates from the early 1920s or mid 1930s. This lot includes the training manuals and change supplements that were issued to make changes to the original manuals with everything vintage original issued by the United States War Department during the 1920s and 1930s. These manuals are generally in good condition with some toning from age, foxing and moderate wear. A few have some staining and a couple heavier staining and a few might have a detached cover or loose page. Overall condition on the lot is good. GIRTH, Training Saddle Model 1916, M1926 and M1930 Was the first type to be used on the M1928 McClellan Cavalry Saddle, saber straps and saddlebag side straps were run under the outer strand and then buckled, this was not satisfactory so D rings were added in manufacture for girths intended for use on M1928 McClellans. Will fit the M1917 Officer’s Saddle and US Marquis Officer Saddle. Us stamped US JQMD with a 1933 or’38 date. Each buckle is stamped “SOLID NICKEL”. Three of the four Spacer Strips are damaged, see pictures. The web material is intact and sound as are the buckles and their billets. See pictures for details and condition. 1937 Imperial Japanese Navy Training Photo Album Book RARE Pre-WWII. The pages are divided by thin rice paper that has printed Japanese Text. The pages of the book are full of Japanese Text as well, especially the rear final pages which look to be perhaps a listing to all the crew members! This Vintage Japanese Imperial Navy album is in good condition for its age, showing some mild edge wear to the covers. The binding is original and is holding strong, albeit slightly loose. The interior pages shows light-mild scuffing and coloration from age/display. The rice paper dividers are in good shape, with only 1 missing and some light creasing present in a few pages. This album has absolute fantastic display value, and provides an unparalleled view into the life of one of history’s most powerful naval forces! 11-1/4″ W x 7-5/8″ H x 3/4 Thick.
