Wonderful Large Bronze & Wood 1922 USNA Annapolis Class Plaque. ARTIFACT: Wonderful, large bronze and wood 1922 United States Naval Academy Annapolis class plaque by Bailey, Banks, and Biddle Co. The large bronze center shows an eagle with wings spread perched atop an anchor with a trident rising behind and set between two crossed swords. The centerpiece is affixed to a thick, dark stained wood plaque and the reverse shows the original paper sticker. SIZE: Approximately 11″ x 14″; Bronze 8-1/8″ x 8-7/8″. CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Wood, plated bronze, paper. ATTACHMENT: Hook for hanging. MARKINGS: BAILEY, BANKS, AND BIDDLE CO. PHILADELPHIA 1832 paper sticker on reverse. Vintage antique Nurnberg beer mug ceramic stein WW1 Imperial German Lowenbrau 1L. Here is your chance to own a very nice commemorative plate. This is from Christmas of 1940 and is absolutely original. The script references the Wehrmacht victories in the West. There is minimal crazing to the piece and it is very nice overall. The plate measures roughly 11-1/4 wide and has a hook on the back to hang from the wall. I never grade my items as mint, even though may be.
