See my other items. EXTREMELY RARE POLISH, POLAND NAVY OFFICER SWORD SABER Model wz. Navy variant Polish saber Mod. Extremely rare Polish, Poland saber Naval Officer. Such swords were produced only 130 units. Inscription: “Honor i Ojczyzna”. Sabre is in excellent condition, with the original scabbard. Perfectly preserved gilding (about 80%) on the hilt and scabbard fittings. Also nickel on the blade preserved very well. On the blade inscription: “Honor i Ojczyzna” and signature: G. In Polish museums I know of only two such sabers. One is in the Museum of the Polish Army (Muzeum Wojska Polskiego) in Warsaw. The second is located in the Museum of Polish Arms (Muzeum Ora Polskiego) in Kolobrzeg. Sword, saber in excellent. Condition for his age. Dimension : 94 cm x 11 cm x 8 cm. This lovely Japanese Naval Officer’s Sword Belt dates from the World War II Era and has survived in very nice condition. It is constructed of black leather with brass fittings which although the leather shows a bit of very light wear, does remain in healthy condition. The Buckle face wears a beautiful Emblem featuring a cherry blossom and anchor. Still present are the two sword hangers. Interestingly, there is a hand-inscription of the Imperial Navy Officer’s name on the leather backing of the buckle. Overall the adjustable Belt would fit a waist up to about 36 inches. A very rare and very attractive Polish officer sword model 1921/22. Triple fullered blade is marked on side. The outer side of blade etched with the national motto. Wire wrapped leather grip intact. This is an extremely nice example of a Japanese Shin Gunto Army Officer’s Sword. It is mounted with a beautiful arsenal made, stainless steel blade that wears a cutting edge that measures 24 1/4 inches in length. The blade has survived in wonderfully nice original condition with only some very minor surface blemishes. The tang wears one hole and is unmarked. All the very nice quality fittings remain clean and in beautiful condition as well. The very nice metal scabbard also remains pristine in its condition. Overall measuring 39 1/8 inches in length. This is a very nice example of a beautiful high ranking Japanese Army General Officer Dress Parade Sword that dates from the World War II Era. It is mounted with a lovely machine made blade that measures 29 1/8 inches in length which has survived in very nice original condition with just some minor surface blemishes. The outstanding guard wears an intricately detailed backstrap which includes sakura blossoms and frames a vibrant, colorful hilt with its twisted wire wrap still tightly in place. The plated metal scabbard has some minor flaking as well as a few small tiny dings, nevertheless does remain in very good serviceable condition. Overall measuring 35 3/4 inches in length. This is a very nice example of a short Japanese Army Officer Sword which dates from the Showa Era and is in Civilian Mount. It is mounted with a well-made arsenal blade that wears a cutting edge of 21 1/2 inches and from tip to tip it measures 29 1/8 inches in length. The blade boasts a lovely straight temper line which extends to the tip on both sides and remains in beautiful original condition with only some minor surface blemishes. The tang wears a Showa stamp and is signed ” Fukumoto KANEMUNE “. It wears gorgeous matching menuki and simple but very nice fuchi kashira that all remain in very nice condition as well. This is a fabulous example of a fine quality Japanese Imperial Naval Officer’s Kai Gunto Sword. It is mounted with a gorgeous and very well made hand-forged blade that wears a cutting edge which measures 27 inches in length. The blade remains in very nice, original condition with just some very minor surface blemishes and continues to proudly don its beautiful actively wavy temper line. The tang is very nicely signed which translates to “Fujiwara Sukekore saku kore”. The hilt and all the lovely gilded superb quality matching fittings also remain in wonderful, original condition and the samé covered scabbard has survived in outstanding condition as well. This is an extremely nice example of a Japanese D-Guard Army Officer’s Kyu Gunto Sword. It is mounted with a gorgeous well made grooved, unsigned blade which wears a cutting edge that measures 27 3/8 inches in length. The blade remains in near perfect original polished condition boasting its attractive actively wavy temper line. The fabulous large D-guard has now beautifully patined with age and frames a very nice white rayskin covered hilt that remains very healthy and continues to wear its original twisted wire wrap securely in place. The plated metal scabbard remains very nice as well with only some light flaking to the plating at the extreme drag edge and has no dings. Overall measuring 37 5/8 inches in length. It is mounted with a Gendai handfordged blade which wears a cutting edge that measures 25 5/8 inches in length which boasts a gorgeous actively wavy temper line that extends to the tip on either side. The blade has survived in very nice condition with only some minor surface blemishes and very light oxidation spots at the extreme tip. The tang is signed which translates to ” Noshu Seki Junin Kanemitsu “. All the fittings remain in very nice, clean condition as well and with the original brown and blue Officers tassel still present. The metal scabbard also remains very nice in its condition.
