This is a good example of a German World War II Era Trench Knife. The blade does remain in good condition and measures 5 3/4 inches in length. The blade is well marked “PUMA SOLINGEN” on the ricasso on one side. It wears a beautiful two piece red bakelite grip that is triple riveted and remains secure and healthy. This is a very nice example of an Italian Eagle Head Dress Dagger Pugnali that dates from the late World War II Era. It is mounted with a blade that measures 6 3/4 inches in length which remains in good condition with some minor surface scratches and minor blemishes. The lovely black painted carved wooden grip remains very healthy and with its original twisted wire wrap still tightly in place. The hilt is crowned with a wonderfully well detailed eagle head pommel and backstrap that also remain nice with most of their original finish still present as well. This is an interesting example of a one-of-a-kind Field Made Customized German Trench Knife. It is mounted with a blade that measures 7 3/4 inches in length that reflects good honest wear with crude sharpening as well as a recent cleaning. The copper hilt is very nicely adorned with an eagle head pommel and flowing backstrap that fits snuggly to the thumb’s grip. The copper hilt is also hand-stamped with a name along with some markings on the underside. The simple black lacquered scabbard is lightly scuffed but does remain in good serviceable condition and has no dings. Overall measuring 11 5/8 inches in length. This is a good example of a Military Gurka Kukri Knife. It is mounted with a well made curved, single-edged blade that measures 12 3/4 inches in length which although shows some light staining, does remain in very good condition and is dated “M43″. It wears wooden grips that remain healthy and tight. The heavy leather scabbard remains healthy as well and continues to wear two smaller knives. Overall measuring 18 3/8 inches in length.
