German Officers and non-commissioned Officers Air Force Complete Dagger 1937. The blade is steel, straight, flat, hexagonal. Two cutting edges polished, no heel. The handle is round, wooden, plastic-topped orange. By spiral grooves handle wrapped with wire. At the bottom of a cylindrical sleeve, decorated with ornaments made of oak leaves. Spherical head handle, molded together with the upper nut. Decorated on both sides of the relief image of a swas and an ornament from oak leaves. The head is screwed onto the blade shank and has a flat circular top a button. Cross-cast, from the front side in the form of a flying eagle carrying a swas in its claws. On the reverse side has a cross dotted background. All metal parts are cast from aluminum hilt. The scabbard is made of metal, solid, surface covered with small dots. Hello, This is a ww2 Stag Bayonet. The maker is Carl Eickhorn , Solingen. The Frog is made by Carl Henkel, Bielefeld. This Bayonet is signed–Initialed. 408, on pommel and P. 408 is on the Scabbard. The Dagger and the Scabbard have Matching Numbers. The sheath has a number 17 at top and the dagger has a number 17 on back bone of blade up by cross guard. Stag scales are very nice. Lots of Engraving , Has some staining and some light pitting. Look at all pictures there part of this Add. Very Rare and Collectible. Don’t really know much about this Bayonet. PRE-WWII German Police Shako hat in like new condition, maker marked, appears to not have had laces installed in liner. This is a pre-war hat that is of a RARE variety. The hat has a leather body with double screened vents, metal visors.
