This is an example of a Japanese Army Dress Parade Sword that dates from the World War II Era. It is mounted with a machine made blade that measures 27 1/8 inches in length. The blade has some flaking to the plating nevertheless remains in good condition. The wonderfully detailed guard remains in good tight condition and wears a silver family mon on the backstrap. The horn hilt has survived in very healthy condition and with all of its twisted wire wrap still tightly in place. The nickel plated scabbard is heavily flaked with light rust but does remain in good serviceable condition. Overall measuring 33 5/8 inches in length. This is a very nice example of a Japanese Naval Officer’s Dress Sword that dates from the World War II Era. It is mounted with a beautiful machine made blade that measures 25 5/8 inches in length which although shows to have been lightly cleaned, does remain in nice condition. The D-guard is beautifully detailed with pretty cherry blossoms “sakura” motifs that adorn the pommel, the backstrap and the guard face and frame a lovely white samé covered hilt with the original twisted wire wrap still tightly in place. The wonderful shagreen covered scabbard has one scuff on one side, nevertheless also remains is in very nice condition and wears equally beautiful detailed fittings. This is an example of a Japanese / Taiwan Colonial Sword that would have been carried by Japanese Officials assigned to the Colonial Administration of Taiwan. It is mounted with a machine made blade that measures 28 3/8 inches in length which although is a bit stained and has been lightly sharpened, does remain in good condition. The plain guard remains very nice and in tight, sturdy condition. The guard frames a beautiful black samé covered hilt with its original twisted wire wrap still nicely in place. The smooth black lacquered scabbard is a bit scuffed but does remain in very good serviceable condition as well as wears equally beautiful coordinating fittings. Up for sale we have a very nice early Japanese Army dress sword. This early Japanese dress sword has a beautiful rayskin grip you usually do not see and also has a faux hamon. Blade is staight with no nicks and handle is tight to blade. Scabbard has some darkening in spots. Untouched since wars end. If you need more information just ask. Dating Pre World War II, this is a beautiful set of three British General Officer Dress Jackets along with one Vest. There is one formal Jacket which remains very nice in its condition and features a gilded “pearl” trim that nicely coordinates with the vest and continues to wear the outstanding shoulder boards with decorative insignias on either side. There is one very small tear inside the collar on the black liner and very light mothing but no holes. The informal Jacket also wears its shoulder board with decorative insignias however their buttons are missing. This Jacket also has some light mothing but no holes and remains very nice as well. Both Jackets measure 17 inches across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam and both measure 22 inches from the top of the collar to the peak of their hem lines.
