This wonderful Old piece has a Great, Vintage design, with USMC buttons & ornate Gold Bullion embroidery, is made of Wool, marked “The Horstmann Uniform Company – Philadelphia”, ID’d David F. O’Neill, USNA, dated 1927, is. An Original, Vintage example and Rare to Find. This includes the coat/jacket/tunic and Button-Fly pants/trousers. Marked Size, but the jacket actually measures approx. 19″ from armpit to armpit and 21″ from top to bottom, with 32″ x 30″ pants. On the ricasso of the blade there is etched Yugoslav emblem (Crowned double headed eagle). On the other side is distributor logo ” ” “OFICIRSKA ZADRUGA”. Stylized brass crown pattern pommel and S form crossguard with scabbard release button show light surface wear to the copper/bronze-colored flashing/wash.
