Webley & Scott Ltd No. 1 Mark III Brass Flare Pistol c1918 WW 1 & WW 2 (33881)
Here I have a wonderful example of a 1918, WW 1 Flare gun. It is a Webley & Scott Ltd. 1 Mark III, with an oak hand grip. It is in excellent original condition with matching serial numbers, and the famous “Flying Bullet” logo of the W&S firm, as well as military proof marks and the Broad Arrow marking indicating Crown ownership. The frame and the bell-mouthed barrel are brass, the locking stirrup is steel, as are the hammer and trigger. There is a steel lanyard loop in the butt. The grips are walnut in excellent condition. The lockup is good, and the trigger action crisp. No rust that I can find, inside or out. For example: 1-2 lbs. Please ask questions and I will do my best to help you.
