This is a very nice example of a Japanese Army Dress Parade Sword that dates from the World War II Era. It is mounted with a well made, machine made blade that measures 29 inches in length which remains in very nice original condition with its beautiful chemically applied temper line design still clearly present. The wonderfully detailed guard also remains very nice and wears a silver family mon on the backstrap. The carved horn hilt has survived in very healthy condition however, the twisted wire wrap is a bit loose. This well made Spanish Artillery Officer Sword, Model 1862 was manufactured by the “FABRICA DE TOLEDO ARTILLERIA” and dates from the World War II Era. It is mounted with a slightly curved blade that measures 30 5/8 inches in length which remains in superb, original condition. The lovely gilded brass hilt is adorned with a nicely detailed high-relief design of crossed cannons with a crown upon the face of the guard and frames a beautiful fishskin wrapped hilt with the twisted wire wrap still tightly in place. This is a lovely example of a German made Greek Infantry Officer Sword. The beautiful straight blade wears a single fuller along either side as well as the logo of “Kirschbaum” just next to the guard. The blade measures 33 1/2 inches in length and remains in very nice original condition. The multi branched guard features a very nice crowned cross emblem upon its pommel face and remains in superb condition, continuing to wear all of its bright gold wash. The black composite hilt also remains very nice in its condition and with its twisted wire wrap securely in place. The plated metal scabbard remains near perfect as well. Very Rare Circa 1920s Chinese Republican WarLord’s Sword Saber (Dirk Dagger). Please Check back regularly for new listings of quality weapons. Extremely rare example of a very seldom encountered Chinese Republican sword variation dating from around 1920s-30s, belonged to a warlord of the Republican army, having gilt brass mounts with Foo Dogs carved in to both sides of the pommel and a large relief star to the guard among fine engraved floral decoratins, the grip retaining its fine sting ray skin and brass double wire wrapping intact. Wearing a sturdy straight single edged blade with deep narrow fuller to each side, showing wear to the nickeled finish with nice rich patina and multiple deviance of combat to the edge. Mostly solid and intact with micro play to the hilt mounts and in its original steel scabbard showing nice patina consistent with the age. This is a very nice example of a German Hirschfanger Dagger Short Sword which dates from the early 20th Century. It is mounted with a lovely straight beefy spearpoint blade that measures 9 3/4 inches in length by 1 1/4 inches at the widest. The blade has survived in beautiful, original condition with only some minor surface blemishes and continues to wear all of its nice markings on either side. It wears a nicely detailed straight German silver crossguard which frames an impressive stag horn hilt that fits well in the grip and features a beautiful silver escutcheon with the itinials of the original owner on one side. The deep rich dark green leather scabbard also remains in very nice original condition with just some wear to the leather finish on the tip. Overall measuring 16 1/8 inches in length. This lovely blade wears a cutting edge that measures 25 1/2 inches in length. The blade has survived in beautiful original condition with only some very minor surface scratches and a couple of very tiny nicks along the cutting edge. The tang is signed with a signature that translates to Fujiwara Kanenaga Motte? Seitan saku kore and on the other side? Tasugi Shinichi (most likely the name for whom it was made). Kanenaga is also known as the originator of stainless steel blades. The beautiful nice quality Military fittings all remain in very nice, clean condition as well. The LIGHTWEIGHT textured wooden scabbard also remains near perfect in its condition with just a couple of very tiny chips to the finish. Overall measuring 39 inches in length.
