It is mounted with a grooved arsenal made blade which measures 26 1/2 inches in length that remains in very nice original condition. The fabulous gilded D-guard wears all of its original bright gold wash and frames a beautiful white samé covered hilt that has survived in very healthy condition and with its twisted wire wrap still tightly in place. The lovely original red and cream Sword Knot remains very nice in its condition and is mounted upon a gold cloth cording that reflects only minor wear. The outstanding shagreen covered scabbard also remains in near mint condition and wears beautifully detailed coordinating fittings that continue to wear all of their bright gold wash as well. This is a lovely example of a Japanese Imperial Naval Dagger, 1883 Pattern. It is mounted with a beautiful machine made grooved blade that measures 8 3/8 inches in length which remains in very nice condition with only some minor surface blemishes. It wears lovely decorative fittings which include a wonderfully detailed high relief “sakura” pommel all framing an attractive “samé” covered hilt that remains very healthy and tight. The outstanding scabbard is lacquer shagreen covered and remains very healthy as well with just some light wear and is mounted with beautiful coordinating fittings. This is a beautiful French Made Chilean Presentation Sword for the well known Argentinean Physician, Politician and Diplomat Marcos Jose Arce (15 October 1881 – 27 July 1968). This gorgeous Sword features a gilded brass hilt that is exquisitely detailed with cut out design and engravings and crowned with the head of a condor for the pommel. The guard remains very nice and tight and frames beautiful mother of pearl grips that have survived in excellent condition as well. It is mounted with a multi fullered, wonderfully etched blade that measures 32 inches in length and is named “MARCOS JOSE ARCE” on one side. The blade has also survived well with only minor blemishes and surface staining. The outstanding silvered scabbard is fabulously engraved and also remains in superb condition with no dings. This is a beautiful example of a German Army Officer’s Lion Head Sword complete with a green felt storage bag. It is mounted with a slightly curved blade that measures 31 1/2 inches in length that has survived in very nice original condition with only some minor surface blemishes and is well marked by the maker E. Hörster just beneath the languet. The stirrup guard is in the oak leaf pattern and remains in very nice, tight condition and is crowned with a lovely detailed lion’s head pommel. The composite hilt also remains very nice and with the original twisted wire wrap still tightly in place. The black lacquered scabbard is a bit scuffed but does remain very nice as well and has no dings. Overall measuring 39 3/8 inches in length. This is a wonderful example of a World War II Japanese Army Shin Gunto Officer Sword mounted with an ancestral blade. The blade wears a cutting edge that measures 26 9/16 inches in length and remains very nice in its condition with just some minor surface blemishes and a few very tiny nicks to the cutting edge, nevertheless continues to wear a beautiful polish and boasts a gorgeous actively wavy temper line that extends to the tip on either side. The blade also features a lovely horimono on either side. The tang wears two holes and is signed “Bizen No Kuni Osafune Sukesada Saku”. This Sword wears high quality Army Shin Gunto Regulation Mounts that also remain very nice condition in their condition as well as is accentuated with a pretty silver family Mon upon one of the menuki. The Regulation scabbard has also survived well with just some light scuffing to the beautiful lacquer finish however has no dings. Overall, the Sword measures 38 3/4 inches in length. This is a very nice and extremely well made German Bayonet Trench Knife that was made from a German 84/98 Bayonet. It is mounted with a clipped point blade which measures 5 7/8 inches in length that remains in superb original condition with only minor scabbard wear to the blued finish near the tip. The screw type wooden grips remain in superb, original condition as well. The metal scabbard is very nicely mounted with a belt clip and also remains very nice, fitting the blade snuggly. This is an exquisite example of a rare and seldom encountered Japanese General’s Grade Army Officer Kyu Gunto Sword. It is mounted with a fabulous machine made fullered blade which measures 26 inches in length that remains in very nice original condition with only some very minor surface blemishes. The gorgeous intricately detailed gilded brass guard remains absolutely beautiful in its condition with much of its original bright gold wash still present and frames a lovely shell hilt that has also survived perfectly in its condition. The lovely plated metal scabbard, although has some light flaking with minor surface oxidation near the drag along with a couple of very minor dings, does remain in very nice serviceable condition as well..
