1929 USMC Marine Corps Corporal Dress Uniform, Ribbons – Marine Expeditionary Service & Yangtze Service Medal Ribbon Bar, & Expert Rifleman Badge Marksmanship Award by NS Meyer, mismatched Eagle Globe and Anchor Droop Wing Type EGA Branch Collar Insignia, USMC Quartermaster stamped for 1928 – 1929, several former owner names cross through and ultimately’Bob Gillham’ who was Robert L Gillham, this is a nice example of a pre-WWII USMC NCO Dress Uniform, the condition is good but it does exhibit some moth holes as seen in the photographs. A Wonderful French M31 Pattern Lieutenant’s Frock Uniform from the 5th Regiment and dated 1936. Includes a pair of trousers. Buttons are a silver ball. Maker’s Tailor Label is from Petitdemange and is named to a Lieut De La Lance. Some scattered minor moth nips mostly on the trousers. Trouser buttons marked “Le Nerveilleux – Paris”. Japanese Imperial Army Major, Dress Uniform & Shoulder Boards, 1900 WWII Era
Here is a very nice Japanese Imperial Army Dress Uniform in the Rank of Major. This uniform was used during the period from Meiji (the late 1800s), through Taisho the early. 1900s, and into Showa (thru the WWII Era). The uniform is complete, has all of its buttons as originally tailored, and does not have insect damage. The front top corners of the collar have a bit of wear. There is a bit of sun exposure fading on the rear of the tunic. The interior is undamaged. All in all it is a very nice example of the uniform model. The uniform includes the shoulder devices which display three stars to indicate the rank of a Major. The uniform has been displayed with two medals: Order of the Silver Star, and Red Cross with Rosette which did not come with the uniform originally but which are included in this sale. I’m having a son so I need to part with some of Spanish collection to make room. This is all untouched and strait from castilla la mancha. Prewar Tunic with Moroccan campaign ribbons. The beret is great has embellished tassels and ranks. Has the original pants too which are hard hard to find. Honestly it doesn’t get better than this for nationalist uniforms.
