This is a very nice example of an Italian Air Force Dress Sword that dates from the World War II Era. It is mounted with a very nice straight, fullered blade that measures 30 1/4 inches in length. The blade is beautifully etched with bright blue and gold on either side, is marked by the maker E & F Hörster Solingen on the ricasso and remains in superb original condition. The lovely cup guard is in the motif of a full eagle’s wing with the pommel in the image of an eagle’s head and remains in nice tight condition. The black painted wooden hilt reflects a little wear to the painted finish, otherwise remains nice as well and the original twisted wire wrap is still securely in place. The metal scabbard is leather covered and beautifully fitted with the top fitting featuring the Air Force emblem. This is an outstanding example of a War-Time Historically Recorded Battlefield Pick-Up World War II Japanese Army Officer Sword mounted with an ancestral blade. The old antique Wakizashi blade wears a cutting edge of 20 3/8 inches in length. The blade does wear a visibly wavy temper line that extends to the tip on either side however reflects cleanings from recent years and has a couple of nicks to the cutting edge, otherwise does remain in good condition. The tang wears one hole and is signed “Bishu Ju San Shiro”. The Sword wears Army Shin Gunto Regulation Mounts which all remain in very nice however there is a small glued repair to the wrapping. The Regulation scabbard remains very nice in its condition and is wonderfully hand painted with the recording of one of the hill battles of Iwo Jima along with the date March 26, 1945 and the name of the GI that brought it home. This is a very nice example of a Japanese Army Officer Shin Gunto Sword. It is mounted with a beautiful hand-forged blade that wears a cutting edge which measures 27 inches in length. The blade remains in very nice original condition with a lovely actively wavy temper line that extends to the tip on either side. The tang wears two holes and is unsigned however, there are a couple of light hand scratched characters that were added in recent years that could easily be removed. All the fittings have also survived in very nice, clean condition. The metal scabbard also remains in very nice condition. Overall measuring 40 1/2 inches in length. This is a very nice example of a World War II Japanese Army Shin Gunto Officer Sword mounted with an ancestral blade. The lovely antique Shinto, unsigned blade wears a cutting edge that measures 25 5/8 inches in length. The antique blade has some forging flaws as well as some very light surface scratches on one side nevertheless continues to wears a nice polish. The Sword wears Army Shin Gunto Regulation Mounts which all remain in very nice condition as well as features a beautiful silver family Mon upon the pommel. Rare and seldom encountered to find in any condition, this is a very nice example of a LIGHTWEIGHT Japanese Army Officer’s Shin Gunto Sword. It is mounted with a beautiful machine made blade that wears a cutting edge that measures 30 3/8 inches in length which remains in very nice original condition with only some minor surface blemishes. The Shin Gunto style hilt has some light staining nevertheless remains tight and sturdy. The metal scabbard also remains very nice, however is missing the base fitting which could be replaced in the right hands. Overall measuring 39 1/4 inches in length. This is an outstanding example of a Japanese Army Officer’s Combat Sword Belt which dates from the World War II Era. It is constructed of heavy canvas with leather trim and metal fittings. The canvas has survived in extremely nice, healthy condition and the leather trim remains healthy with minor wear but with all the stitching still tightly intact. Up for sale we have a very nice early Japanese Army dress sword. This early Japanese dress sword has a beautiful rayskin grip you usually do not see and also has a faux hamon. Dating Pre World War II, this is a beautiful set of three British General Officer Dress Jackets along with one Vest. There is one formal Jacket which remains very nice in its condition and features a gilded “pearl” trim that nicely coordinates with the vest and continues to wear the outstanding shoulder boards with decorative insignias on either side. There is one very small tear inside the collar on the black liner and very light mothing but no holes. The informal Jacket also wears its shoulder board with decorative insignias however their buttons are missing. This Jacket also has some light mothing but no holes and remains very nice as well. Both Jackets measure 17 inches across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam and both measure 22 inches from the top of the collar to the peak of their hem lines.
