ANTIQUE (PRE WWII) USMC H & H OFFICER’s DRESS UNIFORM CAP DEVICE (EGA). This is the Marine Corps Officer’s dress cap device (EGA) used from 1919 to 1937. It was made by Hilborn-Hamburger (H & H), and as shown by the photos is in excellent condition. Although difficult to see in the photos, it is stamped with the H&H logo on the back of the eagle’s wing and what appears to be “1/20K ON/STERLING” on the cross piece of the anchor. Original Vet Acquired German WWII Dagger Blade with Matching Pommel Nut and one other part as seen in pictures. Needle-point bright blade is maker marked M7/40/41 showing some very mild peppering from age and a very light nick to lower cutting edge, otherwise it’s in very nice condition overall. Comes with it’s original (plated type) matching pommel nut and its original grip button as seen in pictures. Aprox dimensions of sign is 36 cm x 25 cm. Made from thick piece of metal (cca 5mm) and quite heavy. Beautiful enamel work, with insciptions “PRODAJA DUVANA” both, latin and cyrilic alphabet, wich translates to “TOBACCO SALE”. In the center it is depicted the Kingdom of Yugoslavia Coat of Arms and the national colors. Same graphics on both sides. Tiny piece missing in corner where the sign was hanged. During the WWII, these type of helmets were part of the standard outfit of the German. They were worn by the flying personnel, fighter pilots and bomber flyers. The helmet is made of qualitative brown natural leather with cover inside. It has metal buttons, which are marked’Prym. Shows very little use, most wear can be seen at the top of the cap. Great condition for its age. Very faint lettering visible on chin strap must have been the crewmans name.
